Happy Australia Day!!

Just got back from watching the most beautiful fireworks on displayed, for the celebration of Australian day. The fireworks performance lasted for about 30 minutes and I got the most spectacular view from the 25th floor at QV1.

My friend, Yin worked there and she invited us to watch the fireworks together with some of her colleagues and colleagues’ friends. Yin, Norman, Victoria, Jethro, Tian and I got ourselves a room and watched the fireworks together. Words can’t really describe what we saw. For the whole 30 minutes, all of us just went, “Waaaaah” most of the time.

    Wow very pretty!! hehe I don’t mean to ask a stupid question but what exactly is Australian Day? ^^; Is it like July 4th for us americans?
