I had a very exciting week and the it has not even end yet!! After the church sevice on Good Friday, Aaron (Yin’s hubby), Yin (Aaron’s ling ling), Victoria, Tian (my sweetie), Momo (my baby) and I went to a park in Bayswater for barbeque!!
Momo had a lot of fun running around and meeting new pals (lots of dogs) and playing with them while we, the adults are busy cooking our delicious lamp chops, skinless sausages, chicken wings, beef kebabs, onions, etc. We had soooo much food we ate till all our stomachs are bloated *burp*. Oooops, excuse me. Hehe.
As for today, Aaron, Yin, Victoria and I went to Narogin, about two hours drive from Perth to visit Aaron and Yin’s aunt who owns a mushroom farm there. It was a pretty interesting journey and looking at how mushrooms are being grown and harvested.
On our way there, we saw about 7 dead kangaroos by the road side. They are usually killed when they try to cross the roads with cars passing by at high speed since it’s a highway. It’s a pretty gruesome sight. However, on our way back, we saw one kangaroo jumping around. It was the first time I saw a kangaroo, one that’s alive around the highway.
As for dinner, we met up with Norman (Victoria’s brother) and Mark at Conca’s!! The best chilli mussles in Perth!! Yummy!! I’m really exhausted now so I’ll be off to bed. Wondering what we’ll be doing tomorrow as Monday is a public holiday as well, meaning, no need to go to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I’ll post the pictures tomorrow. I’m dead tired now.

wow..that sounded like a lotta fun! Yay!
Wow kangaroos! How cool, the closest I’ve ever gotten to one was the zoo, and I don’t think that’s ever been too close at all. Must be kinda like us seeing deer around here. Mostly you see the dead ones on the side of the road that decided to hide until a car came by and then jump out in front of it. But it’s pretty neat to get to see them alive, even if it does give you a scare because you think it’s going to jump out in front of you.
