Gila

Here’s another sms that I received but this time, it’s from my little sister. Words that are capitalised are mostly in Malay so for those of you who understand Malay, happy laughing!!

Smile to old people means SAYANG
Smile to children means KASIH
Smile to lover means CINTA
Smile in front of the handset means GILA
Still smiling?
CONFIRM GILA!!

I couldn’t stop laughing when I got this sms. My collegues thought I was going nuts!!

I don’t understand Malay, so I put the words through an online dictionary, and this is what came out:

Smile to old people means caring love
    Smile to children means affection
    Smile to lover means love
Smile in front of the handset means crazy
    Still smiling?
    CONFIRM crazy!!

It’s still a bit funny, but I suppose most of the amusement has been lost in the translation?!
