I used to be a teacher and I taught LOTE ( Languages Other Than English)in Primary School. I had enough German and French, but we had quite a big Indonesian contingent at the Uni and Umi Quor ran a Bahasa Indonesia course after school. I took the course and then taught BI at school for 2 years. But, if you don't use it, you lose it.
