I’m halfway through the front panel of my Spring Flowers Bag when I realised that there’s a knot in my yarn. Oh no!!! Why is there a knot in my yarn?? Will it show if I continue knitting? It’s not like I have much choice either

If i find a knot, I usuallyundo my knitting back to the beginning of the row, cut the yarn, and cut out the knot, then restart the row. Then you can weave the ends in at the start of the row, and you won’t be able to see it
Definately undo it and cut the offending not out, I left a knot in once and it worked its way undone leaving a lovely BIG HOLE in my work:mad:
That’s exactly what I was going to say!! Unravel to the beginning of the row, cut the knot out, join in the new end and start knitting!!
Michelle, my family never blocked their knitting. It is when you pin the pieces out to the measurements given in the pattern, and I use pins and an old cardboard cutting board with a grid so I can make things even, and then you dampen the piece . I used a spray bottle. Then you let it dry in the shade and it makes the knitting kind of ’set’!!! Some yarn can be steamed and some you wash and wring out first. It is actually quite OK!!!
Oh dear, Michelle. I guess you tried to undo the row & lost a stitch! Next time when undoing a row, do not take it out of the needle, just undo stitch by stitch by picking up the yarn from the row below. If you cannot figure it out, I will show you when I see you the next time. Anyway, it’s alright to start all over again as your work will look even better. Don’t worry about the mess, just roll up the yarn back into a ball & start again & it will be as good as new. Good luck!
That looks like my hair does when I wake up.
