Oysters Anyone?

*Burp* :yummy: I just got back from a nice dinner with my friends, Yin and Aaron (loving couple) and their mother. I was tagging along on their little family outing . We went to Black Tom’s Oyster Bar down in West Perth. It was my first time eating there, though I’ve been there for drinks (my office is around that area).

Here’s a review of the restaurant from Miettas Australian Restaurants.

Black Tom has left Hay St for the more salubrious climes of West Perth. The black painted building with its red tiled internal walls, white plastic tables and red, white and black chairs have slipped into this comfortable neighbourhood, effortlessly. The garden roof easily encloses three full grown plain trees, flower filled fountains and the smart clientele. Altogether a pleasant place in which to take Warren Mead’s oysters. Same prices, food and service as the rest of the empire.

Anyway, I have never eaten raw oyster in my entire life. They ordered 2 dozens as they love oysters but I was reluctant to try it in the first place as I always think that they’re slimy and yucky. Aaron thought me how to eat it.

Sqeeze some lemon juice and put some tobasco, then slurp it in. Boy!! It was delicious!!! Haha!! I ate quite a few. Can’t wait to go back again!!

Does look yummy. I was very skeptical the first time I tried them, they just looked so bad, now I start to salivate a little when I see them! ;)
