Melbourne Cup 2005

It’s the Melbourne Cup today and we’ll be having some nibbles and drinks later in the office. It’s public holiday in Melbourne today but for those of us who aren’t in Melbourne, we’re basically still working in the office. Two of my colleauges are walking around now asking for $5 from each of us. It’s for the sweep stakes and each of us get two horses (we draw lots from two caps :shock:).

My horses has really funny names. First is Xcellent, No. 8 and the other is MR. Celebrity, No. 23. I hope I’ll win at least from one of them. Wish me luck!!

Google is celebrating the Melbourne Cup as well.

    Wow gRacEy, that indeed is disgusting news. I bet the culprits are now real mighty proud of their ‘heroic act’. :stress:
