As my birthday falls on the Easter Sunday, Tian and I came to the conclusion that not many restaurants will be opened that night and therefore, he took a day leave on Saturday instead. He rang a few restaurants and to my dismay, most of them were closed. I didn’t know why but I just cried. Probably because for the pass 2 years, Tian was unable to celebrate my birthday due to work commitments and he told me that he’s gonna make it up to me this year. I was really looking forward to the dinner as it has been ages since we went out to a nice restaurant as well.
As I was surfing the Yellow Pages for restaurants around Perth, I came across the C Restaurant Lounge. I rang them up and I was almost dancing when they told me they were opened. Without hesitation, I made a reservation right away for 2 person on Saturday night.
Day time was as usual: groceries shopping and taking my babies to the park. As the evening drew closer, it’s time to prepare myself . Paint my toe nails and fingernails in red, as I was wearing a red dress, take a shower, put on my make up and do my hair. I was feeling like a little girl, all excited!!! It’s been ages since I really put a lot of effort to doll up myself, not that I’m not pretty enough…ahem :yuck:
Anyway, all I can say about the restaurant is that it’s definitely one of the best restaurant in Perth. Situated high above on St. George’s Terrace, the night view is simply amazing which makes the night seem almost magical!! Beautiful and enchanting music from the piano accompanied us throughout our dinner and the food was simply appetizing and delectable.
We were enjoying ourselves so much that we almost forgot to take pictures!! By the time we remembered, we were waiting for our dessert. Anyway, the photos below are taken with our mobile phones and it wasn’t that bright in the restaurant. Therefore, the pictures are a bit dark and yellowy.
Tian, if you’re reading this, I just want to say, “Thank you for the wonderful dinner as I really enjoyed myself that night. Most importantly, thank you for being part of my life.”
