Busy As A Bumble Bee

For the past few weeks, I have been so busy at work and totally flat out. There are times when I am technically performing 3 jobs at the same time. One of my ex-colleague has left so I’m filling in for her till we find someone else and there are times when the receptionist is not in (away on annual leave) so I have to take that over as well. Wish I have more hands!!

Anyway, I’m not complaining as I can managed all of them and still be quite efficient. Also, at times like this, you realised that there are some people in the office who are concern about you. My boss actually help me by saying this during the staff meeting, “Michelle is really busy these past few weeks. If there’s something you can do yourself, please do it yourself and don’t ask Michelle to do it. Try to help her out as much as possible.”

Isn’t it nice to hear those words once in a while. At least you know that after all the hard work that you’ve done, people do appreciate it.

Your work sounds hectic :s If that person left, maybe they should consider a replacement? It’s really nice of your boss to say that at the meeting though :) Considerate bosses are so rare T.T
