Project 29: My So Called Scarf

Pattern: My So Called Scarf
Yarn: 3 balls of Lincraft Soft Cloud
Needles: 8 mm

I’ve been eyeing this scarf for awhile and I really like the way the stitches look. Probably because it’s different to the contemporary “v” or knit stitches. I’m using Lincraft Soft Cloud yarn instead of the recommended Manos del Uruguay. I’m a cheapo :laidback:.

So far I’ve used 1 ball and I quite like the way how it turns out at the moment. If after 2 balls and the scarf still isn’t long enough, I’ll probably use a 3rd ball. We’ll see how it goes.

Hi Michelle, I’ve been eyeing off that scarf for ages too! Yours looks great, and the variegated colours are brilliant. Hmmm, another one to add to my list, I think.

The scarf looks great & I like the color. I knitted the same scarf using Debbie Bliss Maya using 8mm needle & it looks really good. Keep going, Michelle & you will love it. Happy knitting, Ann
