Yes, it feels like one of those days when you just feel like digging a hole and hide yourself when you did something silly or embarassing, in front of the public, whereas in my case, in front of the church congregation this morning.
Yes, I’m in my church worhip team where I sing worship songs with my team every once or twice a month. However, my worship leader did something a little different during practice yesterday and said, “Michelle, you start this song.”
I was like what??? Ok. Take a deep breathe and start the song. Did I hear glass cracks or was it nails scracthing on the blackboard? Nevermind. During the two practice session, I thought I did pretty ok.
Then this morning…Eeeks…I was too nervous I start at the wrong key!!! :yuck: How embarassing is that??? After church, went home and told Tian what happen and he laughed.
How thoughtful.
But as I sat down and think, I realised, God do not care whether we sang off key or not. Because we’re nothing singing just to perform, we are worshipping Him and giving Him praise. That’s the morning important thing. So yeah…I did feel better later. Anyway, thank you Lord for everything.

Awww, don’t feel bad - you are right! It’s not for people, but for Him!! I’m sure you did wonderful and I’m sure that no one noticed your little mistake - most people don’t notice things like that.
Keep on doing what you’re doing!
Yep, I think nobody really minds if you sing off key. You see, the most important thing is that you have the willingness to sing
even if somebody can sing really well but is unwilling to, the song will be somewhat meaningless.
Anyway, it should be pretty chilly over is Aussie right? Take care!
BWAHAHAHAHA!! aiya once in awhile only lar, dun worry i’m sure they’ll forget abt it soon. :left:
Actually I have an embarassing story too. There was once I got lost inside a supermarket, and I followed a woman whose back looked like my mom. I ran over and hugged her from the back and she screamed. :dead: Whoops.
haha how old were u at that time? i went through so many embarassing moments before till i can’t recall what happened :???:.
I think that was when I was in Primary 1 I think. The woman screamed like hell, and the security guard came and thought I stole her wallet or something. Luckily mom cam to my rescue :yuck:
ur singing to God…
u did well… very well
haha… at least u learnt a lesson from it!
the bottomline is always God, no matter what we say or do.
