I think I have waited for about a week for this parcel from our beautiful Sharon . I’ve always love her knitted socks and me not knowing how to knit a pair of socks, have decided to make a swap with her. I know you’d guess it.
Yeap. Our swap is me designing a template for her blog and I will get a pair of hand knitted socks from her (my very first pair) in pink colour!!
Everyday I’ve been running to my room to see if there’s a parcel waiting for me and finally today is the lucky day!! I had to take the photos with my phone instead as I have not charge my camera (I so need a new camera). Anyway, I was like a little child, excited over a present as I’ve no idea how my socks look like.

However, when I open the package, I got a surprise!! I found a box of yummy chocolates and a really nice hand made greeting card with a picture of Launceston too!!! How thoughtful and sweet of Sharon!! Thank you!!

Anyway, I think I better hide the chocolate away from my other half. Just want to make sure he doesn’t find them or else, he’ll finished it before I do!! :yuck:

I was looking at the other presents one by one and now, finally the pair of beautiful hand knitted socks. Carefully I tried to unwrap the present with my trembling fingers .

Aren’t they gorgeous??? Beautiful socks knitted in Opal yarn!! Thank you so much Sharon!!!! I absolutely love them!!! And they are a perfect fit!!!

What beautiful socks! And, if you follow Shazza’s pattern you will find that socks aren’t that difficult to make for yourself.
Nice socks you got. Hopefully you will learn how to do them one day. You are going to love it. Start with a very simple basic sock pattern. You can do it!
