Onigiri

Onigiri or also known as Japanese rice ball is a Japanese traditional food. Today is my first time trying to make Onigiri and it’s quite easy actually. There are many types of Onigiri therefore, there isn’t really a fix recipe. You just make use of whatever you like. Main ingredient is the short grain rice. I mainly follow the instructions from this site but I improvised it with my own ingredients.

I used Futaba Furikake Nori Katsuo Rice Seasoning Mix and stir them into the rice. So yummy and delicious. Also, I used Chilli Tuna for the fillings :-P.

Here are my onigiri. I know they don’t look erm…very appetising. But hey, it’s my first time!! And they taste good!!
