If you are thinking of knitting socks with 2 circulars - I have tried that & didn't like it was tedious moving the knitting from 1 end to another of the needle, the other needle gets in the way when not is use & lastly, the stitches are loose when you knit from 1 needle to another - so I much prfer using dpns. Haven't tried the magic loop as I am so used to short row shaping. But it's good to have the Addis for other projects. Hope this helps:-)

I tried the magic loop method, and found out that this was not for me! went right back to my dpns instead.
I also tried the 2 circular method and went right back to my dpns.

So I cant give you any advice on those sorry.

Hi Michelle - can you tell me what it is about these Addi Turbo circular needles - cause it seems everyone has them? - anyway I just have birch ones - and the length of cord in the middle ie 60cm or 80c etc depends on what your going to make with them, Ive got 80cm ones because I like that extra bit of length when working with them. so for the size and length you choose I guess youll have to see what patterns your going to make with them as to what you end up getting. hope this makes sense.
