Project 34: Ballet Wrap Cardigan

Pattern: Ballet Wrap Cardigan from Interweave Knits Magazine Winter 2005
Yarn: 3 balls of Bendigo Rustic 12 ply in Green Opal
Needles: 8 mm, 6.5 mm, 6 mm and 5 mm

I finally did it!!! :-D Yay!! My first ever knitted garment for myself!! Although it doesn’t look as good as Cindy’s but I’m still very proud of myself!! My seams are not very neat and the cardigan is not long enough, but I shall stop compaining because I love love love love love it!! :-P

This took me quite a long time to knit. Probably because I’m knitting other stuff at the same time and I have been really busy the past few weeks. Too many things on my mind. Too many things occupying my time, or shall I say, my knitting time. Nevertheless, I present you, my first cardy!!!

Great job, Michelle - a handknitted garment can never be perfect. I have knitted so many but there is always something that I could do better so…I just go on & knit another one! That’s the fun of knitting :-D

    I love this dishcloth color.

I just found out it’s not a straight out exchange. So I am getting my dishcloth from someone, and I am making you three.

I hope they all turn out ok at the very least. :)

Wow. You did such a great job on that! I’ve been knitting for a few years now and I’m still yet to finish an actual garmet. I hope my first one turns out half as good as yours.
