Project 39: Meema’s Felted Marsupial Tote

Pattern: Meema’s Felted Marsupial Tote from Stitch’n Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook
Yarn: 2 balls of Sean Sheep Pure Wool (Dark Purple) and 2 balls of Sean Sheep Pure Wool (Bright Pink)
Needles: 8 mm

I have always wanted to knit the Meema’s Felted Marsupial Tote but never gotten around doing it. Last Saturday, I heard from some friendly knitters that Big W is having a clearance on the Sean Sheep yarn and that they are only $1 for each 50g ball. Tell me, who can resist that???

Off I went and I obediently avoid those fancy acrylic type of yarns and only bought pure wools. Within minutes, I had 10 balls in my basket!! :-D

As it was the long weekend, I just cast on for the bag and knit as I watch the tv :tv:!! Now that I have finished knitting the tote, all I have to do is sew in the ends and felt it. However, I won’t be able to felt it this week. Probably will only be able to felt it sometime next week. Oh well.
