Project 43: Dong Qian’s Tote

Pattern: Meema’s Felted Marsupial Tote from Stitch’n Bitch: The Knitter’s Handbook
Yarn: 1 ball of Bendigo Rustic 8 Ply (Delta), 1 ball of Bendigo Rustic 8 Ply (Green Opal) and 1 ball of Bendigo Rustic 8 Ply (Aran)
Needles: 8 mm

This bag is knitted for Tian’s cousin sister. As it is such an easy knit, I actually finished it in just two days?? :-P Seems like the gift list for his relatives is getting shorter which is a huge relief!! Just in case you all don’t know, I’m actually flying off next Saturday and wont be back till 31st December. During that three weeks, I don’t think I’ll be updating my blog as my knitting progress will most definitely be halted. I’ll still be checking my emails though so do still keep in touch with me :).

Anyway, I hope she will like this bag as I was told that she fancy blue colours. Also, I have to learn the hard way that light colours do not felt well. I’m sure that you can still see the Aran colour stitches very clearly. I felt the bag twice and it’s still showing. Oh well :yuck:.

Nice bag!!! God I get all excited when I see big balls of Bendigo Wool like that. I love them so much.

you chose great colours. What’s the pattern? I’d REALLY like to make that, esp if it’s such a fast knit!
