Back To Knitting

It’s been a wonderful 2 weeks since BF came home and we spend lots of great time together. He’s gone back to work on Monday and I won’t see him till 6 weeks later. Oh well. Back to knitting!! :P

First stop, I have a really long overdue FO that was finished like weeks ago but I often forgot to post about it. Have worn it to work twice already :up: It’s the lace panel sweater, my first ever knitted sweater!!!

Lace Panel Sweater

Pattern: Lace Panel Sweater from Jo Sharp Knit Issue 2
Yarn: Rowan All Seasons Cotton (Purr)
Needles: 5.0 mm and 5.5 mm Addi Turbos

Next is Leo. I finally knitted my first swatch, ever and I got the right gauge!! Haha. Therefore, I’m knitting Leo using 4 mm with my Knit Picks Options needle. I absolutely love them!!

Lastly, the lovely lady at Gentle Ethereal Musings gave me some really soft merino lace yarn in Citrus colour from Handpaintedyarn.com.

    I adore that sweater, it’s gorgeous, and to think it’s your first ever sweater.

    I am totally loving the lace sweater you made! Perfect fit and color on you too! I remember back when you where knitting scarfs, wow, you have come a long ways girl! It’s stunning!!!
