Project 56: Sarah’s Handspun Scarf

A colleague of mine knows I knit quite often and has asked me if I could knit her daughter a scarf. Without much hesitation or second thoughts, I said yes  I finally finished knitting it today. Although I used a slightly thinner yarn than what was recommended, I used a bigger needle size. The simple lace pattern is really easy to follow and I would recommend it to anyone who has never attempted lace before. Anyway, I hope her daughter will like the scarf.

Pattern: Handspun Scarf from Two Left Needles
Yarn: 1 ball of Knittery 8 Ply DK (Earth)
Needles: 5.5 mm

Beautiful! Very few people know I knit (except for family and friends) - saves me wasting precious knitting time on others. Selfish, I know… :)
