This is a really long overdue post. I actually managed to finish this shawl just the day before my RoM :yuck: . Hehehe. That was a really close call. Anyway, this shawl was actually getting a bit bored as I had to work a total of 16 repeats for the body in order to get it to the right length!!! I probably should have used a bigger size needle.
Another mistake that I made is that I casted off using size 5.5 mm needles. It wasn’t loose enough for the scallopy edges that I like. Anyway, I really like this shawl a lot despite all those flaws. If I were to do it again, I think I would use a bigger needle and cast off using a bigger needle too!!
Pattern: Shetland Triangle by Evelyn A. Clark from Wrap Style
Yarn: Less than 1 cone of ColourMart Silk 2/28NM Lace Weight (Foxglove) - Please note that I have Richard wound the cone in strands, making it 4 ply
Needles: 3.5 mm and 5.5 mm
