First of all, sorry for the lack of updates. DH was back last week but will only be home for 5 days. Therefore, I didn’t spend much time in front of the computer as I used to. He’s back to work today and won’t be home till 8 weeks time
I suppose I’ll have more knitting time now so hopefully, more FO’s and more updates too!! Anyway, Here is the first knitted item from Interweave magazine, the Clementine Shawlette. It is quite an easy and enjoyable knit except for joining the two piece together. I’ve read a lot on Ravelry that the grafting part doesn’t look really nice. There was another way of grafting it but I find that it’s too much hassle. Therefore, I just ended it on Row 2 instead of Row 4 of the pattern repeat, and then grafted the two pieces together. It looks nice to me and I’m happy with it

Pattern: Clementine Shawlette from Interweave Knits, Spring 2007
Yarn: 1 ball of Bendigo Classic 8 Ply - Spinifex Colour
Needles: 4.5 mm
