My best friend in KL is getting married next month and sadly
, I’m unable to attend her wedding. I knew she’s quite upset about it as she was hoping I’d be there. Anyway, I’ve knitted her a red (one of her favourite colour) Clementine Shawlette and I hope that she’ll like it
. I’ll be posting the shawl to her tomorrow. I hope she’ll get it in time, cross my fingers!!
Pattern: Clementine Shawlette from Interweave Knits, Spring 2007
Yarn: 1 cone of Colourmart Silk 32/120NM DK Weight - Red Red
Needles: 5 mm

[Update]I realised I made the shawl a bit too long

Simply Stunning.
How can she not like it? It’s so pretty!
What a gorgeous color for a wedding. Lucky friend!
Absolutely stunning, and a shawl can never be too long. Such luxury to be albe to wrap oneself in a fabulously long shawl. Sad that you aren’t able to make the wedding, but I’m sure your friend will be somewhat mollified by your generous gift.
That’s so beautiful, Michelle!
Michelle, I had to set the photo to private in case my fiance sees it!
