OMG! I just realised that I haven’t update my blog for almost a month now? Does that mean I’ve been a lazy girl? However, there has always been a little knitting everyday. I guess I never like to blog when I don’t have any FO to show. Now that I’m updating, I suppose that means I do have a FO to show?
First stop, there has been lots of raving about the Lincraft Bamboozle and Spotlight Moda Vera Bamboo / Cotton yarn. So I thought to myself, of course I’m not going to miss out on this and decided to jump on the bandwagon, bought myself 2 skeins of the Moda Vera Bamboo / Cotton yarn. Thought I’d tried it out as a dishcloth. I gave one of it to Julie (she’s the office receptionist…and also the Director’s wife) and just told me today that it works fantastic as a dishcloth!! I think I will be buying more of them soon??

Pattern: Reverse Miter Dishcloth
Yarn: 1 ball of Moda Vera Bamboo/Cotton
Needles: 4.5 mm
Mr Postman has been MIA (missing in action) for quite some time but he dropped by for a visit last Friday with this fantastic package from my SP!!!! This is the 3rd and also the last package for SP 11. It’s time to reveal the mystery now!! Anyway, I found out that my Secret Pal is Anne from Finland!!! Also, if you’re on Ravelry, don’t forget to give her a visit too!!

Anyway, look at all the yummy goodies that Anne has posted to me!!! A gorgeous hand knitted Swallowtail Shawl in beautiful estonian wool. Sheve even included a ball of Finnish wool, Florica that she dyed herself with Kool Aid.
Thank you so much Anne!!! You’ve been a great spoiler!!! I love everything that you’ve sent me!! Thank you again Anne!!!

Oooh…that’s not the end of the week. Hang on. Be patient. Here I am (drumroll please
), presenting to you, my third pair of hand knitted socks, the Anastasia Socks!! This time, it fits me perfectly!!! I’m a very happy happy girl!!
Anyway, the only modifications that I made are using Knitty Magic cast on and Wendy’s Gusset Heel methods, instead of the short row toes and heels recommended in the pattern.

Pattern: Anastasia Socks
Yarn: 1 ball of Lana Grossa Meilenweit Cotton 100 Maya
Needles: 2.5 mm

Lastly, to those of you who have doggies around the house, did you ever find it hard trying to take photos of you socks?? I was having a hard time trying to snap decent photos of my socks!! First, I have Momo’s bum next to my feet!! Next, Coco decided that she wanted to be in the picture as well.

Hurrah for so many knitted goodies and those gorgeous socks! I checked out Ane’s website and ohmigoodness! Those mittens she’s making are stunning! Shame we don’t need them for warmth here, right? Keep on knitting, and keep POSTING!! Even if you’ve nothing finished!! hehee! :dead:
