My Monkeys

This is the first time  I used The Knittery’s yarn to knit a pair of socks and I must say, I really enjoyed knitting with it. However, this yarn has been discontinued. Luckily I still have a few more skeins in different colourways.

When the Monkey pattern was first published 2 years ago, lots of people raved about it :?: . If you checked on Ravelry, there’s about 3464 projects for Monkey alone!! I have always been a slow starter. I’ve never knit anything pattern that has just been recently published. Nevertheless, now I know why so many loved Monkey as it is a very beautiful pattern and I really enjoyed knitting it.

Blocked Monkeys

Watercolour Monkeys

Pattern: Monkey
Yarn: 1 skein of The Knittery 4 Ply Sock: Merino (Watercolours)
Needles: 2.5 mm

At the moment, I’ve no idea which pattern to knit for my next sock. However, I’m planning on using the Knittery’s Cashmere (Old) in orange blossom colourway. Any suggestions? :?:

Whaa!!! They look fabulous!! Now I must ask - they are toe up, yes? Tones you were knitting on at the Knitting Party at Helen’s? What heel pattern did you use? Love the colours - and looks like they FIT!! Hurrah!! =D Can’t wait to catch up soon and see them in person! xo
