My Little Man

Time really flies. I can’t believe Momo is already 5 years old. If you look at it in terms of human years, he should be about 33 years old now. However, no matter how old he gets, he’ll always be my little boy :) He do acts like a little kid sometimes, being very cheeky and naughty, doing things he knows I don’t like but you can’t stay mad at him for long, not when he give you those sad face, with eyes pleading, “i’m sorry”.

My Dearest Momo

Anyway, I’m sure that you all still remember when I first planted my herb garden back in November? Well, some flourish and only one of them died. The unlucky plant was the coriander but it wasn’t really my fault. I saw Momo peed on it and the next day it turned brown and died  .

My Herb Garden

Fresh Harvest

After all the heard work of watering them diligently and feeding them with blood and bone, it’s time to harvest some of them. I cut some spring onions and red chillies so that I can used them in my cooking. I cooked black peper chicken stir-fry and I was over the moon  . I know I’m being silly but I’m just so happy that I can use some of my home grown herbs!!!!!

Stir-fry Black Pepper Chicken

It has been pretty hot and humid the past few days. I shouldn’t really complain much because those in the eastern states, especially in Victoria are having it a lot worst with bushfires and temperature soaring up to 45 degrees  . Hope the weather will be better for them soon.

Saturday Sky

We might be having thunderstoms in the next day or so. Skies are getting cloudy and sometimes it makes me feel gloomy as well. However, in such gloomy and cloudy times like this, there will always be a rainbow to cheer us up and brings a smile to our faces  .

Well done you! My herbs are dead…being winter and all. And I don’t think I’ll plant any more plants when spring comes. Will be too busy doing other stuff…plus I would like to concentrate on sprucing up my lavender! XD

Sorry for not saying this earlier but, Happy Chinese New Year!! Wishing you, your hubby, and your darling kids a happy and healthy year of the Ox.

And happy b’day to dear Momo too! Like you said, too cute and sweet to stay angry at for too long. :)

You’re lucky you’ve been able to grow some of your very own herbs. Here in HK, with the frickin pollution, probably the only thing I can grow here is a moustache.

    Take care!

    Hey Pete,

Is the pollution really that bad that you can’t even grow any simple herbs? I’ve no idea how it’s like in HK as the last time I was there, I was only 4 years old?
