Oops. It’s been 10 days since my last post. Guess I am quite a lazy blogger sometimes. I can always blame the weather as winter is almost here. It always gets dark when I reach home after work and it’s too dark to take any nice decent photos in the dark. I’m so full of excuse right?
Anyway, here’s a FO since, OMG, last month?? I wish I have one FO per week but alas, I’m such a slow knitter
. By the way, this is the first pair of socks that I knit for my DH and it took me more than 7 weeks!!
I don’t think I enjoyed knitting men’s socks. They take a lot longer to finish as they have more sts per round and more rows to knit too!! However, I’m glad to have finish this pair. Hope DH will wear them after all these effort!!

Pattern: Baby Cable Rib by Charlene Schurch from Sensational Knitted Socks
Yarn: 1 skein of The Knittery 4ply Sock: Merino Cashmere (NEW) in Midnight
Needles: 2.75 mm
Here’s a photo of the evening sky at around 5 PM. Look at those swirly clouds. I miss the clear blue skies. According to the weather forecast, we might be getting some thunderstorms tomorrow.

The socks turned out great & I am sure hubby will love them! Can’t wait for the rain but it’s clear blue sky at my place.

Cute socks!! Too bad it’s summer here… I hardly wear socks in the summer because I’m wearing some kind of sandal. =P

I hardly wear socks during the warmer month too. Definitely prefer sandals during that time!! But it’s officially winter here now so everyone wants to keep my toes toasty warm

Wah you really know how to knit socks ah. I am going to see if I am successful in crocheting myself one. I am just waiting for my smaller needles to come from HK. LOL

Socks are pretty easy to knit once you know the basic construction
Are you gettng more crochet needles via eBay? I used to get cheap knitting needles from eBay too but I hate them. I finally bought myself a proper set of knitting needles and love them to bits!! Never look back as good needles last for ages!!

Love the colour of your socks! Your hb is so lucky – I find it sooo boring knitting for men, that my hb has only received 2 knitted items ever, an incomplete vest and giant ugg-boot socks lol!

Hehe. I know what you mean by “so boring knitting for men”. So far, DH only got one pair of socks and one jumper. That’s it. Hopefully I’ll be able to knit him another jumper soon. I’ve got the yarn already but haven’t been motivated enough to cast on his jumper yet

Your socks are great, how could he not love them?? I agree that men’s socks are endless. The feet are so big and the legs so long!! It is dark here now but it has been very sunny today. That is because it will be -1*C tonight with snow!!
