Girls love going to balls. I think the most common reasons would be the chances to dress up, get nice hairdos and make-up and feel glamorous just for that one special night. I think I have attended 3 balls so far in my early days. First one was for my high school and second one was for my college. I didn’t really enjoy both of that balls. In fact, I didn’t really remember much of them. Maybe because I didn’t have a partner then? Hahaha…now that’s a lame excuse.
Anyway, I’m glad to say that at least there was the uni ball, which was quite memorable. Maybe because my date for that night was someone special? Or was it because we were treated like a princess that night?

Never been to a ball unless I was a teacher and supervising!! You both look very swish!!!

So pretty! I went to my high school prom and to a lot of formals in college – I was in a sorority and we had 2 formals per year. In law school I also went to the Barrister’s Ball.
These days, I can’t afford tickets to balls or galas and have to make due with attending people’s weddings to get dressed up!
