Montego Bay Scarf

I told you there will be one FO this week and I’ve kept my promise  .

Montego Bay Scarf

Pattern: Montego Bay Scarf by Amy R Singer
Yarn: 0.55 skein of ColourMart Silk 32/120NM DK weight in Dark Blush
Needles: 6 mm

I did made a few modifications to the original pattern as I’m using a thicker yarn, I know I’ll not have enough yarn. Therefore, I’ve only CO 29 sts. I also did not braid the fringes as per the pattern but I put two beads instead on each strand of the fringe.

This scarf was made for a dear friend of ours, who will be travelling to London with her husband sometime end of this month. For the time being, their plan is to be there for 1 year but not sure where they will be going after that. Therefore, I’ve no idea when we will see them again. We’ll miss them a lot.

It’s a great pattern (has been in my queue for ages!). Sounds like a good excuse for you to have a trip to London too!
