Wildflowers Festival

Last Monday, I took my mum and sister to the Kings Park for their Wildflowers Festival. I myself being in Perth for the last 8 years, have never even been to this festival and thought that this will be a good opportunity for us all  . Boy oh boy was I glad to be there!! We were surrounded by so many pretty flowers and that 2 hour walked in the bush was totally worth it even though we were so tired after that!!!

Here are some of the photos I’ve taken (I actually took more than 100 shots). If you’re my Facebook friend, you can see all the photos here :) .

Wildflowers in Kings Park

Me and My Dearest Mummy

Pink Everlastings

If you’re ever in Perth during the month of September, you must give Kings Park a visit. I’m sure you’ll definitely enjoy it.

PS: I forgot to add. The colourful top that I’m wearing is made by my dearest Mummy  just in case you noticed it.

I DID notice your gorgeous top! Perfect colours to wear to the wild flower festival – did you have any bees or butterflies fluttering by you before they realised you’re not a flower?? What beautiful photos too – a lovely day out!

I was just about to ask you about the granny square sweater when I noticed what you have been writing about it. I love it! Granny square sweaters use to look awful, but yours is just great! Is your mother to be found at Ravelry?
