BSJ #8

When I found out that a dear friend of mine was pregnant, I knew I had to make another Baby Surprise Jacket for the little baby. Somehow, knitting this little jacket has become a tradition for me, unconsciously.

As she’s not finding out the sex of the baby, I had to knit something that’s unisex in colour. She finally gave birth to a healthy little baby girl last month and I’m so happy for them.

Love that little jacket. I knitted one last year but it does not look as good as yours. I was not happy with it & did not bother to put any buttons on. It’s hiding some where.

    Hi Val,

This jacket is knitted in garter stitch. Meaning it’s using “knit” stitch on both the right and wrong side :) . That’s why you only get to see the bumps and not the “V” stitches.
