25 Weeks & 1 Day

Everyone must be wondering how big is my tummy now. I can definitely say that I do look very pregnant now!!!! LOL I’ve also been told that it will only get much much bigger!!!!!! Seriously can’t imagine how big I’ll become. Eeeeeks!!!! :???:

25 Weeks & 1 Day

Managed to drag my DH to go to the Perth Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo with me today. To be honest, I don’t know if it was a good idea taking him along or not because he definitely looked bored and not interested. He even post this on his Facebook status, “Is at baby expo with Michelle Lee….. God I’m bored.. Somebody save me pls…”

Anyway, managed to buy a few things essential things from the expo today. I’ve decided to get the ERGObaby Carrier in Camel colour and the ERGObaby Heart2Heart Infant Insert to go with it. After hearing so many people raving about this, I hope I made the right choice in purchasing this!!!

I also bought the Grobag Baby Sleep Bag in Song Bird Pattern. I bought it in size 0-6 months and also just 1.0 tog (warmth ratings) since my Little Princess is going to be a summer baby. According to the website, 1.0 tog is “perfect for summer and daytime naps (warmer weather and in rooms of 21-23°C)”.

I would have bought a few more things if DH wasn’t around such as baby monitors, toys, etc. Oh well  .

You look great!! I didn’t get the Ergobaby but Kim’s brother bought us a Babybjorn. I got 3 grobags too but have not use them yet..

I have an Ergo, it is great, much better than the baby Bjorne, I think. And it can be used for a lot longer too.

I also use grobags, still do, and my little guy is just over two now. You’ll probably need at least one more in that size, in event of poo/wee explosions. I found two plenty.

Some ppl reckon I need more than 1 grobags. But I’ll wait until baby is born before I buy anymore. What size did you get btw?

Some ladies in the EB (Essential Baby) Forum reckons babies in the first few months should be swaddled instead? That’s why I only bought one grobag in the 0-6 months size

Time will only tell whether he will be bored or not. So far, I think he’s still trying to adjust to the fact that he’s going to be a Father!!! Sometimes I get so upset with him for being less excited than I am!!!

Yes, you can swaddle for the first few months at least, but when they start kicking or wriggling out of the wraps, then you’ll start to use the bags – I think for us it was about 4 months. But I always had two bags in each size so that if I needed to wash one, I had another one ready for the next sleep!

Thanks for the tip!! I think I’ll just wait and see how it goes. If I do need another one, I’ll just buy the next size up, but two of them :)
