Hmm…two FOs in four months. That seems to be very very slow. Yes, knitting has been very slow for me lately. Sometimes I think I might have even lost my knitting mojo? I feel a little bit uninspired, unmotivated…or maybe I’m just plain lazy? :razz:

Anyway, I decided to knit this shawl for my colleague’s 50th birthday. I normally don’t knit for all my colleagues of each of their birthday but since this is a significant milestone for her, I thought a little something handmade will be a nice gift :smile: .

Yarn: 0.38 skein of ColourMart Cashmere/Cotton/Angora/Merino/Viscose 3/15NM fingering wt shiny cotton in Azufre
Needles: 4 mm

The only modification I did to this shawl was to omit the picot bind off as I was running a little out of time. I did the stretchy bind off instead and I think it still looks ok. Yellow is her favourite colour (I checked with her first :mrgreen: ) and I do hope that she will like this little shawlette.

Anyway, when I first came across this style of dress named “skater dress”, the first thing that pops into my mind is the song Sk8er Boi by Avril Lavigne. I know I know that it’s totally unrelated :lol: !!

What I love most about this dress is that you can dress it up and also dress it down!! It’s one of my absolute favourite work dress!!
