Spring weather is always nice for weddings and I’ve already attended two lovely weddings the last two months. Weddings are always so beautiful, so full of love and lots of pretty things. The only thing that I’d complain is thinking about what to wear to weddings!! Oh well, here are some of my favourite shots on both weddings

On another note, there’s a topic on Ravelry with the title “Flash Your Stash”. Well, I’ve never really show you my stash before as it’s not really organised. I just used to keep them in my cupboards. After looking through all their stashes, I’ve decided to be a little more organised and off I went to Crazy Clark’s and bought myself 4 x 55 litres of the plastic tubs. Thinking that it might be enough. WRONG!!! I actually need one more .

Oh yeah, I actually finished knitting and felted the FMB #6 weeks ago but never really got around taking a photo of it so here it is in its full glory . This bag is made specially for Aunt Amy I hope she likes the colours.

Yarn: 6 balls of Panda Woolbale
Needles: 7 mm

Lastly, my very own February Lady Sweater is finished!! Yay!!! I decided to use a cotton/wool yarn instead of pure wool so that I can still wear it during cool weather instead of winter alone.

Needles: 5 mm and 6 mm

Some Greens & A Last Minute Project

My family knows that I don’t really have a green thumb. I’m totally not interested in gardening at all, especially weeding!!! My family came over for a visit sometime in August last year. They actually planted quite a lot of lovely flowers and a tree.

In order to proof that I’ve been putting a little bit of effort, here are two pictures of my beautiful yellow rose bush (a tiny one) and my little lemon tree. I’m very proud of them

I attended my colleague’s wedding last Saturday. On Thursday, I realised that I didn’t have a matching bag to go with my dress. I don’t like those handbags that you carry around the shoulder as I find them quite inconvenient, especially for a cocktail style dinner. I decided to whip something really quick and easy. This little pouch is knitted using two strands of yarn held together (one from Moda Vera Trinity and one from the colourmart yarn).

Yarn: Moda Vera Trinity and ColourMart Silk 32/120NM DK weight
Needles: 5 mm

I improvised a little on the bag. I didn’t use the icords as per the pattern but I used ribbons instead

FMB Crazy

After about one month’s break, Tian has finally went back to work and flew to Kalgoorlie this morning. I’m beginning to miss him already and I’ll continue to miss him for the next four long weeks. We had a great time together during his break and I enjoyed every second of it. I wish I could spend more time with him

Alas, now I can get back into my knitting rhythm as it has been a very slow progress when Tian was around. However, that doesn’t mean that I have no new FOs!! Drum roll please

Since I made knitted my first ever French Market Bag for my sister, my mum wanted one as well. Being her daughter, of course I knew what colours she’d like. Anyway, the bag is still with me and I’ll only be able to give it to her this February. I hope she likes the bag.

By the way, do you have any idea how many French Market Bags I have knitted?? Four!!! And none of them are for me!! Therefore, I’ve decided to make one for myself, in my favourite colours of course
