A Quick Recap

Spring weather is always nice for weddings and I’ve already attended two lovely weddings the last two months. Weddings are always so beautiful, so full of love and lots of pretty things. The only thing that I’d complain is thinking about what to wear to weddings!! Oh well, here are some of my favourite shots on both weddings

On another note, there’s a topic on Ravelry with the title “Flash Your Stash”. Well, I’ve never really show you my stash before as it’s not really organised. I just used to keep them in my cupboards. After looking through all their stashes, I’ve decided to be a little more organised and off I went to Crazy Clark’s and bought myself 4 x 55 litres of the plastic tubs. Thinking that it might be enough. WRONG!!! I actually need one more  .

My Stash

Oh yeah, I actually finished knitting and felted the FMB #6 weeks ago but never really got around taking a photo of it so here it is in its full glory  . This bag is made specially for Aunt Amy :) I hope she likes the colours.

Lastly, my very own February Lady Sweater is finished!! Yay!!! I decided to use a cotton/wool yarn instead of pure wool so that I can still wear it during cool weather instead of winter alone.

Lots Of Knitterly Goodness

There will be lots of knitterly goodness in this post therefore, I’d suggest you get ready a hanky in case you start to drool  .

First stop, I’ve just finished another pair of socks using a really lovely yarn!!! I’m so glad I bought 3 skeins of this yarn!!! This is the first time I tried with slip stitch heel method and this will definitely be my next favourite pair of socks as they are so comfy!!

Shopping and Knitting Makes Me Happy

Ah, the post title says it all  . Shopping and knitting really makes me very happy. I popped into Portmans again with my colleague as she wanted to get some work pants and when I saw this vest, I had to buy it. Why??? Original price is $79.95 and it’s being reduced to $19.95!!! What a great bargain!!! And most importantly, I think I look good in it!!

As for Mrs. Darcy, I’ve decided to frog the top bits of the fronts and make it wider. I’ve already undo the sleeve cap seams and the shoulder seams and the frogging bit. So hopefully I’ll be able to fix this soon. :( First time I have to undo a FO. Sigh…

Anyway, for those of you who are Spotlight VIP members, I’m sure all of you received the Spotlight Vouchers like I did? Who can miss such a good bargain hey?? I went there this morning and holy moly!! It was packed!! Everyone was kinda like buying lots and lots of stuff!!! I actually wanted to get some new curtains and the rods for our house but then Tian wasn’t around so will have to wait for next time. So guess what I went home with?
