A few weeks ago, when the weather was not too hot, DH took me out on a date and we went to the beach. It was about time for us to do something different rather than sitting on the sofa at home and watch DVDs or going out for dinner, etc. We had such a wonderful time together and it was indeed a very memorable day for us.

It has always been very difficult for me to find sunnies or glasses that suits my face. I suppose have a weird face 
? Some people just looks good in whatever shapes of sunnies/glasses they wear whereas sometimes, I look like a fly or Ultraman if I put on a pair of those large framed sunnies.
However, both DH and I found the perfect pair of sunnies for me, accidentally a few days ago. Well, he was actually looking for a pair himself and I sort of got bored standing around. Therefore, I decided to try on a few pairs of sunnies just for fun when DH suddenly mentions that this particular pair actually looks good on me 
!! Oh well, I kinda brushed him aside but he end up buying that pair of sunnies for me because he reckons this pair of sunnies were made just for me .
Just realised today’s the last day of October. Without realising it, October has come and gone. As I’m siting down writing this post, I can’t help but to wonder, a lot of things can happen in a month.
Firstly, to the ladies who attended Citi Nits last Saturday, I’m really sorry for leaving so abruptly. It’s just that after I sat down and ordered my cup of drink, I received a text from my friend, notifying that a dear friend of ours, Lionel has passed away. I could not carry on knitting and pretended that I was ok. I needed to go home, needed to be alone, so that I could grieve. Attended his funeral last Wednesday with Tian and it was hard for all of us. Lionel was still so young and we just can’t believe that he was gone 
. I guess it’s not really goodbye as I believe we will someday meet again in heaven. Till then, we’ll just have to treasure every single moment that we have 
.
On a lighter note, Tian’s parents arrived last Thursday. It was their very frist trip to Australia. Since it’s the weekend, we take this opportunity to bring them around. Went to Northbridge this morning for Dim Sum and took them to the Caversham Wildlife Park in the afternoon, I guess, from the photos below, everyone seem to be enjoying themselves very much.
Lastly, I decided to cook dinner for tonight. Since it is my first time cooking for them, I was a little nervous. Thank God everything went well and no complaints!! So far so good 
.
