VISA’s Wedding

Remember I told you previously that I went back to Kuala Lumpur to attend my cousin brother, Vincent and Sandy’s wedding? I was really looking forward to that special occasion because it has been awhile since all the cousins (my Mum’s side) were together in one place especially with some of us here in Australia. So apart from it being their special day, it was also a huge family reunion :) .

Vincent and I were pretty close when we were growing up together as kids. I remember when we were little, we would play Barbie dolls together, and of course some boy toys too  . I always looked up to him as my big brother so when he told me he was planning his wedding, I knew I had to go back for his special day  .

One Happy Couple & I

Receiving Hongbao from the Newlyweds

In the Chinese tradition, after the tea ceremony, the newlyweds would normally give hongboas (red packets) to the younger unmarried cousins. Well, I got one hongbao from the newlyweds that day even though I’m already married!!!

Cousins Reunion

And finally, all of my grandmother’s grandchildren are together :) . Don’t you think my grandma is very cool wearing that hat?

Alas, that’s also the last day where I had my photos taken with my long hair because as you all know it, I’ve got short hair now!!!

The Gorgeous Sisters

Well, as you can see, my sister got a new haircut too She shaved part of her head!!!!! You will be able to see it a lot clearer in the next few photos and she’s really happy and excited with it because she had been waiting to get it shaved for at least 2 years now.

Sisterly Love

It was truly a very memorable weekend for all of us. To be honest with you, it probably has been more than 9 years since all of us cousins were together. Therefore, it was definitely a night to remember.

My dearest cousins, although we may never see each other very often now, I just want you all to know that you all will always be in my heart. Love you all very much and I hope to see you all very soon!!!

The New Me

I just came back from Kuala Lumpur a few days ago for a one week holiday. Well, the main reason I went back was to attend my cousin brother’s wedding but will talk about that in the next post as I’m still waiting for the photos to be uploaded by my dearest sister and cousins :) .

Since I was only back for a short trip, I tried to do as much as I could. First thing was I definitely need a new hair cut!!! For those of you who have been following my blog, you would have noticed I have had long hair for a few years now. In fact, my hair was actually waist length and slightly longer too!!! But not anymore!!!!

The New Me

I seriously love my new hair cut!!!! I forgot to mention, the photo above was taken during the wedding reception. My sister designed that dress. Don’t think you it’s gorgeous?

Little Manisha’s First Birthday

Little Manisha (Felicia‘s daughter) turned one today and we had a nice picnic by the river in East Perth. Thank God the weather had been kind to us today as it has been raining for the last few days. We were quite lucky to get a bit of sunshine every now then. Had such a lovely time. Felicia, thanks for inviting me!!! :D Anyway, since it’s her first birthday, of course I had to knit something for her birthday ;-) .
