Suddenly realised that I haven’t post any photos about my shoes for about 6 months now?? Does that mean I have stopped buying shoes for this period?
Hehehehe….of course not. I guess I’ve just been lazy. I actually bought this pair of heels beginning of this year. It’s really nice and comfortable for its height surprisingly.

On the knitting front, I knitted a pair of socks for my MIL. Hopefully it will fit her well and that she’ll like it

Pattern: Fingering Weight Toe-Up Socks with Gusset and Slip-Stitch Heel by Wendy D. Johnson
Yarn: 0.83 skein of Zwerger Garn Opal Acapulco
Needles: 2.5 mm
It’s been a crazy month as I’ve been busy knitting away!!! I’ve been so busy knitting that I almost forgot to show you the socks that I’ve finished last month!!!!!

Pattern: Los Monos Locos / The Crazy Monkeys by Jennifer O’Sullivan
Yarn: 0.83 skein of Zen Yarn Garden Bling Yarn (with 2% Silver)
Needles: 2.75 mm
I actually knitted a pair of Monkeys back in 2008 but it turn out a little tight for me so I ended up giving the pair away to my friend. I promised myself that I will knit another pair of Monkeys for myself one day and that one day turn out to be 3 years later!!! However, as I didn’t want to make the same pattern again, I decided on the purl-less version of monkeys and this time it fits me perfectly. Gotta love the Wendy’s gusset slip stitch heel. Short row heel just doesn’t fit my feet well at all unfortunately. So far this year I’ve knitted 2 pairs of socks for myself. The next 2 pairs will be for my in-laws
.
Last but not least, I just finished a little baby vest yesterday and it took me only 4 days to knit it!!!!!!
This little vest is way too cute!!! The only thing I modify from the pattern is replacing cables with a heart stitch pattern instead as I know cables will slow me down and I had to finish before today

At the rate I’m knitting, we might have just one FO per month and the most, two FOs per month. Seriously wish I could knit faster. Nevertheless, I finally knitted a shawl for myself!!!!
And I’m in luuuuuuuuuuuuuurve with Sea Silk!!!! OMG!!! This yarn is divine!!!! So sorry about my enthusiasm. This is my first time knitting with this yarn. To be honest, I’ve bought this yarn a few years ago. Now that I think about it, I have absolutely no idea why did it take me so long to try this yarn out???

Pattern: Elektra by Rosemary (Romi) Hill

Beads: 06-1014 6/0 Miyuki Seed Beads – S/L Chartreuse AB – 12.5 g x 3 bottles

As for the pattern, I’m really loving it. Hopefully I’ll be able to knit every single pattern from this book one day. All her patterns are gorgeous!!!!
