Here’s my first FO for the year 2012!!!!! I actually finished knitting this about one month ago but alas, my sister aka photographer weren’t around, hence the late blog post. I cast on (CO) this scarf/shawl when I was on the plane flying back to Kuala Lumpur last November. It took me more than 2 months as I haven’t been knitting much.

Pattern: Hitchhiker by Martina Behm
Yarn: 1 skein of Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash in Wilder Mohn

In fact, knitting has been rather slowly. Hopefully, I will have at least one FO each month?

Just realised that I actually have an FO to show since October but have completely forgotten about it!! This is the first pair of socks that I’ve knitted for my father-in-law (FIL). I hope it fits him well. Now I can finally post this pair and the other pair that I’ve knitted for my MIL. Hopefully these will keep my feet and toes toasty warm as it’s usually pretty cold where they are at this time of the year
.

Pattern: Fingering Weight Toe-Up Socks with Gusset and Slip-Stitch Heel by Wendy D. Johnson
Yarn: 0.95 skein of Zwerger Garn Opal Acapulco
Needles: 2.5 mm
Knitting has been pretty slow lately. I’ve no idea when I’ll be able to post my next FO…

It has been a few months since I last knitted a shawl. This shawl is made especially for my dearest Grandmother. My mum had been showing her the photos of all the shawls I’ve ever knitted and Grandmother asked her if I have any spare shawls that I don’t want so that she can have it. Silly Grandmother. Why would I give her things that I don’t want??? Of course I’ll knit her a shawl!!!! So here is that shawl I’ve knitted for her and I hope she’ll like it.

Pattern: Maia Shoulderette by Rosemary (Romi) Hill
Yarn: 0.87 skein of Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash in Kurbis
Needles: 3.75 mm
Hopefully I’ll have time to knit another shawl for myself soon. There are so many to do projects on my list and most of them aren’t for me!!!!
