It’s Combat Time

Combat boots are definitely back in style this season. It’s funny how the trends kept on returning!! I remember I used to have a pair of combat boots back when I was just a teenager!!! Ahh…those were the days. Of course, now I’ve to add a pair to my current collection!!!

Tony Bianco Gravel

However, after buying this pair of combat boots, I’ve no idea how to style it up. It remains in my closet for more than a month until my recent trip to Japan where I bought a new coat and a pair of jeggings. This is definitely one of my favourite casual look for now  .

We took a few shots but somehow, the doggies always remain in the photos. Don’t you love them to bits?

Something Red

Since I miss Shoesday last week, I better mentioned it first on today’s post  . This pair of stiletto heels are one of the first few pairs that I bought from Nine West a few years back and this pair is definitely one of my favourites  , especially when I bought it at a very good price too!! If I’m not mistaken, it was reduced to $49!!

Nine West - Kitoko

Lately, I’ve been wearing lots of long sleeves t-shirt as the weather is getting colder but I didn’t really want to wear another layer of jacket or cardigan as that will be too warm. Also, I hardly wear shirts to work as I’m too lazy to iron them. Therefore, I’d often look for ways to make t-shirts dressier  and this is what I wore to work today. I took a few shots and Coco insisted on being in the picture so that’s where she’ll stay  .

Lastly, my sister has been staying with me since beginning of this year and it’s been a roller coaster ride ALL THE TIME. Bear in mind that I haven’t lived with her under the same roof for the past 7 years except for the occasional weeks when I went back to Malaysia to visit my family. Also, there is this big age gap between us as well which doesn’t really help at times, bearing in mind that she’s only doing her first year in university this year. Why am I bringing this up? Hmm, let me share with you one part of our conversation today:

Her: Jie (Big Sis in Cantonese), I’m so thirsty
Me: Go drink some water
Her: I left my water bottle in your car this morning
Me: How come you’re so forgetful? Why didn’t you buy a bottle of water while you’re in uni?
Her: I’m quite broke this month after buying all the ink catridges for the printer
Me: Don’t tell me you have not even drank a drop of water for the whole day????
Her: I drank a sip of water from my friend’s bottled water

Now, I had to quickly end that conversation with her before I stared screaming “HELLO??????” She left the house with me at 7 am and I picked her up from the train station at around 5 pm. That’s like about 10 hours and she only drank one sip of water because she’s too broke to buy a bottle of water??? What kind of excuse is that?? A bottled water only cost like $2 to $3 max and surely she can afford to buy a bottle?? If not, I’m sure her “friend” would be able to spare her a few gold coins?? I myself drink like 2 to 3 bottles of water while at work easily and I can’t believe that she only managed on just one sip. Sometimes I wonder if her brain is fully developed?

Don’t get me wrong. We do have our good times too and there are times when I do enjoy her company :) .

PS: I bet she’ll be fuming when she read my post

Things I Like Lately

Every year come autumn/winter time, I’ll start hunting and drooling over boots. Those of you girls with skinny legs will know my dilemma. It’s always hard to find a proper pair of leather boots that will fit and hug our calves. They often somehow look like gum boots on me!! Therefore, I’ve pretty much given up hope on finding any. Well, I did found a pair last year at Zomp but it costs almost $400 for that pair!!! I’m not willing so spend that much on just one pair of shoes although it was a good quality leather boots. Oh well. So what is the most expensive pair of shoes have you ever bought and how much did it cost?

Fringe Boots

Lately, fringe boots have been pretty popular too. Lots of well known celebrities such as Hillary Duff, Nicole Richie, Kate Moss, etc. are seen wearing them. But of course, that’s not the reason why I bought mine  . Someone, these type of pocahontas boots seems to look ok on me. Most important, I do not look like as if I’m wearing a pair of gum boots!!!

That t-shirt is definitely one of my favourite printed tees. If you can’t see the print clearly, look at the image below :) I’m pretty sure you know why I like it now

Lastly, I’ve been pretty addicted to two online games at the moment. You can find them both on Facebook. Does anyone of you play any online games? What type of online games do you like to play? At the moment, I’m pretty much hooked on Restaurant City and Pet Society. Blame my sister for introducing these games to me!!! Now my knitting time got cut shorter!!!!

Restaurant City

Pet Society

Oh well, I’m going to check on my Restaurant and my Pet now. See ya!!
