I actually finished knitting this about one month ago but alas, my sister aka photographer weren’t around, hence the late blog post. I cast on (CO) this scarf/shawl when I was on the plane flying back to Kuala Lumpur last November. It took me more than 2 months as I haven’t been knitting much.

Needles: 3.25 mm

In fact, knitting has been rather slowly. Hopefully, I will have at least one FO each month? :roll:

Montego Bay Scarf

Pattern: Montego Bay Scarf by Amy R Singer
Yarn: 0.55 skein of ColourMart Silk 32/120NM DK weight in Dark Blush
Needles: 6 mm

I did made a few modifications to the original pattern as I’m using a thicker yarn, I know I’ll not have enough yarn. Therefore, I’ve only CO 29 sts. I also did not braid the fringes as per the pattern but I put two beads instead on each strand of the fringe.

This scarf was made for a dear friend of ours, who will be travelling to London with her husband sometime end of this month. For the time being, their plan is to be there for 1 year but not sure where they will be going after that. Therefore, I’ve no idea when we will see them again. We’ll miss them a lot.

Yarn: 4 skeins of Heirloom Silk Touch (one each in different colour) and 0.5 skein of Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock – Lightweight in Sherbet
Needles: 4.5 mm and 6 mm

I know it’s been a very long time. In fact, it’s been more than 2 months since I have any FO to show?? Hahaha. Guess I’ve been a pretty slow knitter lately. However, at the moment, I do have 3 WIPs!!! That’s crazy isn’t it??? Hopefully there will be another FO sometime next week or the following week. Stay tuned!! :mrgreen:
