Beautiful Rainbows

I still remember clearly the first time I saw a rainbow. I was roughly around 5-6 years old and I was playing at the playground in the kindergarten that I went to. It was a really teeny tiny rainbow. You can only see a small bit of it. Nevertheless, it made me very happy then. It’s not very often you get to see rainbows back in KL. Even if you do see one, you never get to see the whole rainbow from one end to the other because the sky is always full of clouds here and there.

However, when I went to Perth, I saw clear blue sky for the first time in my entire life. It was absolutely cloudless. It was so beautiful that I could almost just stare at it and get lost in my own thoughts. It never fails to amaze me how beautiful God’s creation is.

It was drizzling the whole day today as winter is drawing near. On my way home, I saw not one but two rainbows!! You can see a bit of the 2nd rainbow in the picture below. Sorry for the lousy quality as I took the picture with my phone camera. I had to do it really quickly at the red traffic light!! :yuck:

Double Rainbows

On another note, I found out that Ninewest was having their winter sale and that they’re having up to 50% off on selected styles. Well, I’ve been good. I didn’t went shopping last month so I suppose a gift for myself is not too bad :yuck:

I got myself a pair of Baneita in black. It is a stunning evening pump with pointed toe and 9cm stilletto heel, adorned with a satin upper and glitter embellishment. Original price was $129 and I only paid $59 today. Isn’t that a bargain??

Another Shopping Spree

I think I spent quite a lot of money today. Yikes!!! Actually, I think I spent quite a lot of money this month!!! :yuck: Oh dear oh dear. Time to eat bread!!

Anyway, I haven’t had a hair cut for quite awhile now and it’s definitely going out of shape and I’m kinda sick of it. Drag myself to the shopping mall this month and went to one of the salons to get a hair cute. Got my fringe back but those curls aren’t permanent. The hairdresser just curl it using a hair straightener as she said I always had my hair straight, she wanted to do something a little different. So, what do you think of my new hairstyle?

After that, Yin and I went on a little mini shopping spree today as we got some Myer voucher for 20% to 25% off. No girls can miss a sale. I didn’t really have anything particular in mind that I want to buy so at first, I thought I’d just go do some window shopping.

Ack!! I end up buying quite a few things but not all was from Myer but at least all the things that I bought today is on sale (just trying to make myself feel better about the $$$ I have already spent) :yuck: .

I bought myself a nice dress from Tokito in Myer. After trying on that dress, I had to buy it. Even a lady who was waiting for her friend in the waiting room, saw me in that dress and she said I look great in it!!

Later on, Yin wanted to buy a pair of black shoes for work so I told her Nine West is having sale. Uh oh. Bad idea. That’s because I ended up buying a pair of shoes for myself. Original price was $139 and now it’s only $89. That’s a bargain!!!!

Shoe Fetish!!

Due to Melissa’s request, I’m supposed to be posting these photos just for her, so that she can drool all over and wait another week before she can actually see and wear them for herself. Mum promised to buy her a pair. I repeat, a pair, in other words, one pair!!

However, being the spoilt rotten brat that she is, she demanded that both pairs of that crocs belong to her!! And my mum, being soft and kind hearted, often give in to her unreasonable demands, all the time. Sigh.

Nevertheless, I’m happy that mum is here in Perth with me for eleven days!! Therefore, she’s all mine now!!!

Sha Niu!! You happy now?? Are you drooling?? Hehehehe :yuck:
