Remember I told you previously that I went back to Kuala Lumpur to attend my cousin brother, Vincent and Sandy’s wedding? I was really looking forward to that special occasion because it has been awhile since all the cousins (my Mum’s side) were together in one place especially with some of us here in Australia. So apart from it being their special day, it was also a huge family reunion
.
Vincent and I were pretty close when we were growing up together as kids. I remember when we were little, we would play Barbie dolls together, and of course some boy toys too
. I always looked up to him as my big brother so when he told me he was planning his wedding, I knew I had to go back for his special day
.

In the Chinese tradition, after the tea ceremony, the newlyweds would normally give hongboas (red packets) to the younger unmarried cousins. Well, I got one hongbao from the newlyweds that day even though I’m already married!!!

And finally, all of my grandmother’s grandchildren are together
. Don’t you think my grandma is very cool wearing that hat?
Alas, that’s also the last day where I had my photos taken with my long hair because as you all know it, I’ve got short hair now!!!

Well, as you can see, my sister got a new haircut too She shaved part of her head!!!!!
You will be able to see it a lot clearer in the next few photos and she’s really happy and excited with it because she had been waiting to get it shaved for at least 2 years now.

I love family portraits. I should persuade my Mum and Dad to take more photos
.

It was truly a very memorable weekend for all of us. To be honest with you, it probably has been more than 9 years since all of us cousins were together. Therefore, it was definitely a night to remember.
My dearest cousins, although we may never see each other very often now, I just want you all to know that you all will always be in my heart. Love you all very much and I hope to see you all very soon!!!
