I bought lots of beads yesterday in the city during night shopping. So guess what the end up to be? Stitch Markers of course!!! Now I think I have so much of them in my box!! And I’m only using two at the moment.

I whipped all these up yesterday. Weekends are usually pretty boring for me so apart from cleaning up the house, I made myself busy by either knitting while watching some shows or making stitch markers!! So what do you think?

I’ve been really tempted to have my very own set of stitch markers for a very long time as I have none at all. Came across this stitch markers tutorial at Poor Miss Finch and I was motivated to make myself some. Went to the city today to buy some materials. However, I couldn’t find the 20 gauge wire and the thickest I could get was 26 gauge wire. I bought it nevertheless as I was determined to make myself a set of stitch marker today.
The 26 gauge wire is rather thin actually, which is why I think it’s not as solid and firm. It will just have to do at the moment until I can find a 20 gauge wire sometime in the future. Either way, I’m still proud of them.
