Now I have something to confess. I’ve been following Rose Red’s blog for quite some time and I always look forward to her posts, especially on Tuesday. Why Tuesday? Because, Tuesday is for Shoesday!!! I’m sure that many of you who are close to me knows that I do have a bit of a shoe fetish
. Well, of course I won’t be able to post every single Tuesday because I don’t think I have that many shoes to last every single Tuesday although I secretly do wish for that to happen some day??
Now, the first pair of shoes I feature was bought sometime earlier this year from Vincci, in Malaysia. I love shoes from Vincci because they’re pretty, comfy and most importantly, cheap cheap cheap!!! Each time I go back to Malaysia, I’d probably buy at least 3-4 pairs of heels from Vincci
. If anyone wants to buy me shoes from Vincci, I’m a size 7
!!!

Next, Christmas has come early for me this year. Hehehehe. Oh well, I bought some yarns, again
. Erm, they’re on sale so it really is a good bargain!! Take for example, the Down to Earth 50/50 Cotton/Soy Yarns (cotton/soy) from Spotlight are only $1.99 each as they’re 50% off and I couldn’t resist placing my 2nd order for Bendigo Woollen Mills yarns on their last day of sale
. I got myself 2 skeins of their Alpaca in Prism and 1 skein of Cotton 8 Ply in Lilac, although sadly they gave me four 50g skeins instead of one 200g skein. Lastly, they’re Christmas presents that I bought for myself!!

By the way, can you see my little Christmas tree? Hehehe. I know it’s tiny but hey, it’s still a Christmas tree!!

Spring has always been one of my favourite season and sad to say, it is almost the end of Spring now. Last week, there was a birthday bash at Mark’s place for the November boys and my DH was one of them. All of us had a blast and the highlight of the night was during the games session. (see photo below). Ah…Da Mer, you’re not so young anyway since you’re no longer twenty-something. Hehehe
.

Anyway, after exploring Mark’s herb garden, I decided to create my very own herb garden too. Since the weather today is so beautiful, I went to Bunnings to buy some pots, potting mix, and of course, some herbs. I bought sweet basil, coriander, spring onions, and two chilli plants. Do you think 3 herbs in a pot is too much or too tight
? Or should I just have 3 herbs in a pot? Erm, mind you, I really do not have a green thumb at all so I hope my effort and the money I spent today to start my herb garden, will not go to waste since the roses in my gardens are still alive and blooming
.

While I was gardenning, my babies were enjoying the sun too. It was a little easier snapping their photos today as they’re not moving too much!!
What I like most about the two of them is that they both get along so well and I just love seeing both of them together!!

Lastly, after flashing my stash on the last post, someone reckons that they’re not even full and suggest that I should buy more yarn!! And buy more yarn I did
!!! Hahahaha!!! Ah…just kidding, I actually bought the yarns way before I flashed my stash. Anyway, here are the lot of yarns and I plan to use them for blankets. Oh well, hopefully I will have an FO to show you on the next post.

Ah, the post title says it all
. Shopping and knitting really makes me very happy. I popped into Portmans again with my colleague as she wanted to get some work pants and when I saw this vest, I had to buy it. Why??? Original price is $79.95 and it’s being reduced to $19.95!!! What a great bargain!!!
And most importantly, I think I look good in it!!

As for Mrs. Darcy, I’ve decided to frog the top bits of the fronts and make it wider. I’ve already undo the sleeve cap seams and the shoulder seams and the frogging bit. So hopefully I’ll be able to fix this soon.
First time I have to undo a FO. Sigh…

Anyway, for those of you who are Spotlight VIP members, I’m sure all of you received the Spotlight Vouchers like I did? Who can miss such a good bargain hey?? I went there this morning and holy moly!! It was packed!! Everyone was kinda like buying lots and lots of stuff!!! I actually wanted to get some new curtains and the rods for our house but then Tian wasn’t around so will have to wait for next time. So guess what I went home with?

Lastly, it has been pretty cloudy and wet the past few days. I miss sunny days now
