Anyway, the yarn is thick and thin textured. I tried some patterns such as My So Called Scarf but I frogged it. That pattern just doesn’t go with this yarn. I decided that garter stitch is the best but I was thinking, it will be such a boooooooooooooooooring knit. So, I search around in Ravelry and found the perfect pattern!!

Secondly, Paul and Hsien is going to have a baby girl I’m so happy for them!!! So I thought of whipping up something girly and something cute for the baby .

After I finished the little jacket, I still have some leftover yarns. Therefore, a little girly hat sound like a good idea .

Hang on!! Before that, let me present you Blueberry Leo, modeled by my hunky hubby!! Yes, he was home and I managed to persuade him to let me take a picture of him in the sweater. Perfect fit!!! Not bad for a first man sweater I saw!!

Back to FOs, the No 1 project is of course the Lady Eleanor Entrelac Stole for my dearest Mummy, knitted with the gorgeous Noro Silk Garden. Love the colours of the yarn but I’m not too fond of the little pieces of twigs in between the yarn every now and then. They annoyed me a lot but the colours just won me over. Therefore, I shall persevere. Entrelac isn’t as hard as I thought it would be. It’s actually very easy once you get the hang of it!! Wonder why I didn’t start the project earlier as I bought the yarn ages ago!!! Anyway, Mum loves it but she left it here in Perth!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I only used 9 and 1/3 balls of the Noro Silk Garden for the stole, I used the leftover yarn for Calorimetry. I modified the pattern a little bit by casting only 80 stitches and I’m very glad I did that!! It’s a perfect fit for my small head now!! Now I can use it whenever I have bad hair days!! Hahaha .

Lastly, I’ve finally managed to finish the remaining of the Waving Lace Socks after such a looooooooooooooooong time. I put it aside while knitting Lady E as I was hoping to finish it before the big day.

Now I’m planning to start another pair of socks using my stash yarn but don’t think I’ll cast on yet as I’ve got two projects on hand at the moment. Anyway, what type of heel do you recommend? I’ve done a few pairs using Wendy’s Gusset Heel for toe up socks. What are the other easy type of heels for toe up apart from short rows?

I’m still waiting for all the pictures that were taken on that night therefore, I think it’ll take a few posts for me to share with you our special day. For now, here are some shots before I walked down the aisle with my Dad. Most of these shots are taken in the bridal suite of the hotel that we stayed, while waiting for the time to arrive.

My Daddy and I were pretty nervous actually. I kept on reminding him to walk properly because during the rehearsal, my dad walked really really funny. Hahahaha. As for myself, I was worried I might tripped on my own gown!! Yikes!!

I love my bouquet of roses. Love the shade. Love the girls in their pretty pink dresses too!! I’m sure you would have guess it had to be pink!!! Anyway, hopefully I’ll get other pictures soon so that I can show you my handsome groom!!

2. My family from Malaysia arrived yesterday and my house is now full of people, doggies are super excited.

3. Got my first birthday present from my family. Remember how I always mentioned that I wanted to get a new digital camera?? Hehehehe. My family bought me a Canon IXUS 860 Thank you thank you thank you!!!

4. Didnt managed to finish knitting the Lady E so mum will have to wait for awhile.

5. Did something really stupid last night. We all went to a Chinese Restaurant, I paid the bill and walked away. When I reached home, I realised that I paid $10 extras!! As in I forgot to wait for the change!!! Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. Lastly, 5 more days to the big day!!!! I will not be able to update much for now. Hopefully, you’ll hear from me again sometime in early May

In order to proof that I’ve been putting a little bit of effort, here are two pictures of my beautiful yellow rose bush (a tiny one) and my little lemon tree. I’m very proud of them

I attended my colleague’s wedding last Saturday. On Thursday, I realised that I didn’t have a matching bag to go with my dress. I don’t like those handbags that you carry around the shoulder as I find them quite inconvenient, especially for a cocktail style dinner. I decided to whip something really quick and easy. This little pouch is knitted using two strands of yarn held together (one from Moda Vera Trinity and one from the colourmart yarn).

I improvised a little on the bag. I didn’t use the icords as per the pattern but I used ribbons instead
