Happy 2012!!!

Happy 2012 everyone!!! I hope you all have had a fantastic new year celebration. As for me, it was a quiet evening with my DH and my two furry babies, just the way I like

Can’t believe 2011 has just flown past by. I have had my fair share of ups and downs but that’s just the way life goes and it’s always bittersweet. Hopefully 2012 will be another amazing year and I should also make an effort to blog more often too ;-) .

On another note, most of you should know by now that I don’t really have a green thumb. Most of the plants in my backyard are either dying or barely alive. The only thing that’s really flourishing is my rose bush.

Roses from our backyard

Aren’t they pretty? They smell very lovely too  .

Merry Christmas 2011

FIL’s Socks

Just realised that I actually have an FO to show since October but have completely forgotten about it!! This is the first pair of socks that I’ve knitted for my father-in-law (FIL). I hope it fits him well. Now I can finally post this pair and the other pair that I’ve knitted for my MIL. Hopefully these will keep my feet and toes toasty warm as it’s usually pretty cold where they are at this time of the year  .
